  1. How do I book a car?

You can send a booking request through our website by selecting your pick-up location, return location, dates, time and preferred car category. After we receive your request, our team will check availability and contact you to confirm the booking.

  1. Is my booking confirmed immediately?

No. A booking request is not a final confirmed reservation until our team confirms the car availability and rental details by email, phone or WhatsApp.

  1. What is included in the rental price?

The rental price includes VAT, unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) with excess, and delivery/collection within Larnaca limits during office hours, unless otherwise agreed.

  1. Are there any hidden fees?

No hidden fees are added without prior confirmation. Any additional charges, such as special delivery, optional extras, late return, fuel difference or additional insurance, will be explained before confirmation or stated in the rental agreement.

  1. What is CDW insurance with excess?

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) with excess limits your financial responsibility for damage to the rental vehicle, provided that the rental agreement terms and traffic laws are followed. The excess amount depends on the car category and will be confirmed before the rental.

  1. Can I reduce the excess?

Additional insurance cover may be available depending on the car category, rental period and driver details. If you would like to reduce the excess, please ask us before the rental starts.

  1. Is a deposit required?

Yes. A deposit or excess amount is required and depends on the car category and insurance option. The exact amount will be confirmed before the rental agreement is signed.

  1. What documents do I need to rent a car?

The main driver must present a valid driving licence and a passport or ID. An international driving permit may be required if the driving licence is not in English or does not use Roman characters.

  1. What are the driver age requirements?

The minimum driver age is 23 years. Please contact us in advance if the driver is under 23 years old.

  1. Can I pick up or return the car at Larnaca Airport?

Yes, pick-up or return at Larnaca Airport can be arranged by prior agreement.

  1. Can you deliver the car in Larnaca?

Yes, delivery and collection within Larnaca limits during office hours are included, unless otherwise agreed. For other areas or out-of-hours service, please contact us in advance.

  1. What is the fuel policy?

The fuel level is recorded at the start of the rental. The car must be returned with the same fuel level unless another arrangement has been agreed in advance.

  1. Can I drive anywhere in Cyprus?

You may drive within the Republic of Cyprus on public roads, subject to the rental agreement. Driving outside permitted areas, off-road driving, or crossing into restricted territories may invalidate insurance coverage.

  1. Can I drive to Northern Cyprus?

Driving to Northern Cyprus is not prohibited. However, insurance coverage does not apply in Northern Cyprus, and the renter is fully responsible for any damage, recovery, towing and related costs.

  1. Can someone else drive the rental car?

Only drivers named and approved in the rental agreement are allowed to drive the vehicle. Additional drivers must be declared and approved before driving.

  1. What should I do in case of an accident or breakdown?

Contact us immediately and follow our instructions. In case of an accident, do not move the vehicle unless it is necessary for safety, and contact the police if required. Insurance coverage may depend on proper accident reporting and compliance with the rental agreement.

  1. Who pays traffic fines?

The renter is responsible for all traffic fines, parking fines, speeding fines and other violations during the rental period.

  1. Can I change or extend my rental?

Rental changes and extensions are possible subject to vehicle availability. Please contact us as early as possible before the scheduled return time.

  1. Will I receive the exact car model shown on the website?

We try to provide the selected model whenever possible. If the exact model is not available, we may provide a similar or higher category vehicle.

  1. What should I do if my flight is delayed?

Please inform us as soon as possible. We will do our best to adjust the pick-up time, subject to vehicle availability and office hours.

  1. Can I cancel my booking request?

Yes. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel your booking request. If a booking has already been confirmed, a deposit has been paid, or special arrangements have been made, the applicable cancellation terms will be confirmed separately.

  1. How can I contact MYCAR?

  1. What is the minimum rental period?

The minimum rental period is 2 days.
